Meet The Owner

Hello! Welcome to my Oasis! My name is TaShea Anderson and I am the herbalist and founder of Ahav Oasis, LLC and the Free CommuniTEA Apothecary (FCA). I have always been drawn to wellness and health, but I never felt quite aligned with a career in traditional healthcare and medicine. Over the years I became more mindful and intentional about what I put into my body and how I care for myself and my daughter from the inside out. That is how I stepped into the world of holistic health and discovered my passion for herbalism. This path led me to the American College of Healthcare Sciences where I am currently working towards a degree in Integrative Health Sciences, specializing in herbal medicine.
If I could have a superpower it would be the power to heal. What started as simply wanting to learn how I can take a more holistic approach in the wellness of myself and my family, turned into a passionate desire to help others reach their holistic wellness goals. I believe in the power of nature to nurture and heal, and everyone deserves to nurture their well-being holistically regardless of their financial situation. Our loving Creator, Jehovah God, gave us everything we need to be happy and healthy. Plant medicine grows free all around us! I believe in the words found at Matthew 10:8 where Jesus himself said, "You received free, give free." That is how Ahav Oasis and the FCA began.
My goal to make plant medicine accessible to everyone without barriers. That is why the FCA provides herbal tea to the local community free of charge, and the donation-style pricing of Ahav Oasis ensures herbal products and holistic services are available at a price EVERYONE can always afford. We want to empower you to be able to nurture your well-being holistically, so we only accept what your circumstances allow you to give. We appreciate your heartfelt tokens of appreciation. The work we do is supported by generous donations as we strive to embody the true meaning of giving.
As an herbalist, I take the "whole tree" approach. I'm not just symptom focused. Symptoms are like the branches of a tree. Parts of a much bigger whole. I focus, not only on the "branches" of a person, but also the leaves, the trunk, the roots. The whole. That is what I call the "whole-istic" approach. I don't want to just tend to your branches. I also want to nourish, nurture, and heal your roots. And I want to teach you how you can do the same.
Thank you for visiting my oasis and taking the time to get to know a little bit about me. I'm looking forward to getting to know you too! Enjoy your stay at Ahav Oasis!
"We should love, not in word or with the tongue, but in deed and truth." (1 John 3:18)
That is the true meaning of "Ahav."
